Citation Nr: 18160362 Decision Date: 12/27/18 Archive Date: 12/26/18 DOCKET NO. 16-61 288 DATE: December 27, 2018 REMANDED Service connection for a stomach disability is remanded. REASONS FOR REMAND The Veteran had active service from October 1972 to June 1973 and from December 1984 to March 2001. The Board finds a remand in this case is required for an issuance of a supplemental statement of the case (SSOC). Prior to the issuance of the Form 8 in July 2018, multiple relevant medical records have been received which were not submitted directly from the Veteran herself or from her representative. The Board finds a remand is required for the issuance of a supplemental statement of the case (SSOC). The matter is REMANDED for the following action: 1. The AOJ should obtain any of the Veteran’s outstanding VA and private medical records and associate them with the claims file. If possible, the Veteran herself should submit any pertinent new evidence regarding the condition at issue in order to expedite the claim. 2. Readjudicate the issues on appeal. If the determinations remain adverse to the Veteran, she must be provided with a supplemental statement of the case. An appropriate period of time must then be allowed for a response before the record is returned to the Board for further review.
